What Are Subscription Plans?

Subscription plans are a way to organize your fitness offerings and define payment terms.

When you create a plan, you'll choose:

(-) A plan name
(-) A plan price
(-) Payment frequency
(-) Free trial or not
(-) Credit card required or not

How To Create Subscription Plans

You'll need to create a plan before you can invite a client to sign up because the plan defines the terms of the subscription.

How To Organize Subscription Plans

There is no right or wrong way to organize your plans.

You can have a different plan for each client if you'd like, and you can name your plans by client. For example, you might name a plan "Marci Cohen's Plan."

You may find you prefer to have fewer plans that are more broad, like a weight loss plan and a muscle gain plan.

The good news: there is flexibility to organize your plans however you choose, and there is a search bar to help you quickly locate plans if you have a lot of them!

How To Price Your Plans

This is a very common question, and there is no right or wrong answer.

Many of our trainers have plans starting at around $100-$150/month. We also have trainers offering plans that cost as much as $1500/month.

Keep in mind that you can define the terms of your plan. A $1500/month plan is bound to include some in-person sessions and a lot of personal communication.

A $100/month plan is likely to include a set number of online workouts each week, and it's going to be less personalized.

What's The Difference In Basic and Expensive Plans?

A $100/month plan probably includes a limited number of workouts, less messaging, and no in-person sessions.

A $1500/month plan probably includes some in-person sessions and/or FaceTime consults, unlimited workouts, progress tracking, and a lot of personalized messaging.

Communication is key to success! No matter how you price your plan, make sure to send audio messages and keep your clients motivated.

When you clients experience personalized services, like daily audio messages, they're more likely to see the benefits and upgrade.

Credit Card Required Or Not?

If you require clients to enter a credit card number to access a free trial, their card will be charged for the price of the subscription as soon as the trial is over.

If you do not require a credit card, there is no charge at the end of a trial. When the trial ends, you will have to follow up with the client when the trial is over and send a link to a new plan if they decide to sign up for a subscription.

Bottom line: it's easier for YOU if you require a credit card. But offering a no-credit-card-required trial is more customer friendly because it eliminates the need to cancel if necessary.

You can make the decision that's best for you and your clients, and you have full flexibility to offer as many plans as necessary.
